Scientific Fiction = "Scientifiction"

Welcome to the Department of Astronomical Scientifiction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In today's world, any futuristic concept or technology that is beyond the grasp of the average homo sapien is deemed "sci-fi" and thrown off the edge of the event horizon.

Scientifiction is the brand new science that aims to make a reality of all the sci-fi elements that are scientifically feasible (and within our measly budget). Astronomical Scientifiction takes this one step further by focusing on those aspects of scientifiction that have to deal with cosmology, outer space, Pluto and extraterrestrial life (and even wormhole theories to prove the possibility of time travel, as shown in the image above).

Scientifiction is growing at an extremely rapid rate - about half as fast as Pluto's period of revolution (which we still think should be considered a planet; we filed a lawsuit against NASA and lost it because Scientifiction was not a globally recognized form of science back in 2006). We have added over SEVEN members to our department in the past five years, and we show no signs of slowing down.

We hope that you look through our website and are inspired and motivated enough to rebel against all the science-fiction that is deemed ridiculous and "impossible" (another term that we have a problem with) by our cruel, inhumane society.
